Trout & Bass Opening

The wattle’s are blooming which can only mean one thing… Trout opening!!

The Dargo & District Angling Club have regretfully announced that the opening competition will be postponed to a later date. Keep an eye out for more information to come.

On behalf of the Dargo & District Angling Club, we would like to announce that the annual Trout & Bass fishing opening competition will be going ahead (subject to Covid-19 restrictions) on Saturday the 4th September 2021.

TROUT & BASS FISHING OPENING COMPETITION

Commencing Saturday 4th September (lines down 6.00pm)
Closes Sunday 5th at 11.00am.
Weigh-in at noon & presentation at 1.00pm at the ‘Shed Bar’, Dargo Hotel.
Please note the addition of Bass and associated conditions.
RULES
Open to fully paid members only.
All fish must be presented cleaned for weigh-in.
All persons must carry current fishing licence.
Trout
Max. 5 fish per person per day.
Only 2 over 35cm per person per day.
Seniors to remain minimum 26cm.
Juniors – no limit.
Bass
Max. 2 fish only, per person, per day.
Min. length – 27cm.
Prizes for heaviest Carp/Eel (Garbage fish).
Secret weight (draw of all fish weighed).
